BTW, on that attendance thingy - you didn't exactly set yourself afire as such a "big club" when you came back up from League One...

Must be all the glory hunters have come back......<laugh>
Cardiff av 1997 =3600 talk about Glory hunters. <laugh>

I was quite impressed with Poveda the most of the youngsters. He could end up being a dangerous player! Head hurts today to say the least! Still sinking in that we are back in the Premier League at last! I really hope Bielsa stays, but as far as I am aware it's not confirmed yet. Talks this week according the the owner.

I have everything crossed!
lovely control of the ball. I could see him an a better Saiz.

I think you mean Chump

Been watching 10 mins of Pablo on YouTube with a massive grin (now the hangovers have gone). We really do need an understudy for him - he takes out two or three midfielders easily to open teams up. My player of the year. Don't think Poveda is that replacement.

What a pleasure to watch our B team (in the main) outplaying Derby's first team, a joy to behold

Pablo orchestrated & dictated the play as he does , a perfect individual performance worthy of a 10/10 rating

hmmmm I mentioned this yesterday in the Derby match thread more as a spot of fun at the dog botherers, but it seems like the BBC have picked up on the story now.

Whilst even reading the headline I thought it very unlikely, the quotes from Radrizanni suggests that it's more likely than I would suspect.

Huddersfield Town have approached Leeds United assistant boss Carlos Corberan to be their next head coach.

Corberan, who is also the club's under-23 manager, has been part of Marcelo Bielsa's coaching team this season as Leeds won the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League.

The Spaniard, 37, previously worked with Manuel Pellegrini and ex-Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde at Valencia.

Danny Cowley was sacked as Huddersfield boss on Sunday.

Corberan, who also worked in Saudi Arabia and Cyprus before moving to Leeds in 2017, became part of Bielsa's coaching team following the Argentine's arrival at Elland Road a year later.

Although Bielsa's contract is about to run out, with Leeds planning immediate talks about an extension, it is understood Corberan's is a long deal and would involve compensation.

Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani said on Monday that Corberan has already had opportunities to leave Leeds to become a head coach previously.

I understand the ambition of Carlos," said Radrizzani. "I asked him to stay one year because we had an unfinished job.

"He did stay and now I think he needs to enjoy this moment of success with everybody.

"I know how much Carlos works and I think now it's also good that he can take his own way and start a new journey to build himself as a first-team coach.

"He deserves it."

If Huddersfield did decide to appoint Corberan, they would be following the path they went down with David Wagner, who was part of Jurgen Klopp's wider coaching team at Borussia Dortmund.

Well gentlemen the task has been done, the goal of returning to the big time fulfilled, now the work begins for Amigo and his coaching staff.
Names are being banded about already, even Brentfords players!!! but not for me, we must and can get better than any of them.
I am pretty sure we will see the last of Ben White after Wednesday, dont get me wrong i would love Leeds to buy him, but Brighton have seen how much he has improved under Bielsa and will now blood him in there team.
After saying that maybe there is a replacement waiting to be had, we need to get Amigo with Pep together and chat over the possibility of purchasing John Stones, similar player to White, just a bit of polishing from Bielsa and i think we could do a lot worse.
The last part of the jigsaw this season is..... i would like us to relegate Charlton on Wednesday, i was certain Boyer was going to whisper in his players ear of the racial abuse s hi te and tell him to get amnesia over it, especially with his track record and how Leeds backed and protected him during his attack and the Asian lads, but no he did not have any input on the situation so lets send the fkrs down if at all possible.

Hey "Covid", who's rattled your cage?

The only thing the Jacks nick are the wheels off your car if you park it down there overnight.

Calling someone Covid is maybe telling them to contract it and a possibility of dying!!!!
Thrush is a name given for an irratating cnut, hence you, so fck right of ya Welsh knob jockey.

Also been down Tiger Bay and The Mumbles, i know where i would prefer to live if i had a choice and it would definitely would not be Tiger Bay.

Don't so ****ing childish you Yorkshire twat. Only a self righteous cnut like you would take offence at a forum jibe - don't like it back eh?

Anyway, I thought Thrush was something you caught off an infected sheep and I haven't been near one since we beat you.

Just for your info as you seem to be pretty low on it, Tiger Bay doesn't exist anymore and hasn't done for more than 30 years now - keep up. As far as the Mumbles goes, it's way off the back garden of Jackland and nowhere near it. If you want to live there then fine, it's a real nice place, just don't park your car in Townhill when you go into town.

Welsh knob jockey - how original....<laugh> Now feck off yoursellf you bigoted racist.......<whistle>

(sorry mods - I had a minor brain fart there. WTF is Chesh, shaks and the rest of you - I need some oppossiton on here)
