Have you even watched him?

You'd have turned your nose up at Andy Robertson

yeah and anyone looks good up there ..

regardless my main point is it's hardly Cavani, Koulibaly or coutinho is it

it's more and more evident who is goingbti be our owner

AND STILL

If anyone doesn't want to be linked with Motherwell midfielders and has had enough of austerity, then just hit pause on this club. No point getting irate about it, as Bruce rightly said, we are where we are. Either like it or lump it, there's no point going on day to day just disgruntled at everything.

Definitely. Ashley's priority now will be getting his loan out - the net spend was bad before, it's about to get worse. The lack of shirt sponsor is a huge commercial dent - in fact, the continued ignoring of the club will have left a huge hole in commercial income. We'll be free transfers and cheap relegated players, then a sprinkling of Henri Saivet's if we're lucky.

Even to stand still, we'd need to replace Muto and Gayle. That's £50m needed right there. Joelinton will never work, Carroll will get worse, Ritchie, Rose likewise and our CB's are all another year older and slower. We have no box to box, will lose Matty and be relying on Bentaleb. Dubs has been very poor the last few months. We look like relegation candidates, but then we did last season. Who knows, really - but without a takeover I'm not willing to commit any more time, money or efforts into a Mike Ashley regime.

But you are still drinking here buddy.
It's happening<cheers>
I didn’t say I would leave...just that it would be a really, really, really dire party.

And yes I still believe it is happening as well.

No-one has said it isn’t and I doubt that it would simply go away with a whimper. Last concrete news we had was Master’s saying it was still ongoing. I’m guessing the action on piracy is being monitored by the PL and we’ll (hopefully) find out within a week or two of the end of the season as that gives a reasonable monitoring period for the PL and then time to review the results before making a decision and then the monies being transferred.

But I’m fairly sure I’ve said that before...

The powers that be will always deny this area of the country.. it's just the way it is .. it's just football and we have to accept where we are as Bruce said. The reality is due to the financial landscape at so many other clubs and TV money eradicating any advantage clubs had with their attendances that nufc is a bottom half club and that's it really .. you can either go or not go , but don't expect more than you're sold.

Personally I just want to see the whole outcome or even process with this alleged bid, if/when it fails.I think it was very important for Newcastle as a City to get investment and should have completely trumped anything to do with Richard Masters PL marketing dept. It seems sickening to me that a bunch of brown-bag ****ers like the PL, the old boys club, can have such a detrimental impact to the whole region.

Of course, it might not be the fault of the PL - it might be AS. It might be PIF. It may even be Ashley.
