The man to replace a Grant McCann will be released on Thursday, I know who it is....it’s going to be Grant McCann!:emoticon-0121-angry

And the same was said after each of those left and guess what.....a manager came in!
A very fair comment.
Phelan, Slutsky, McCant...I rest my case m'lord.

Good shout by Aire re: Barmby. Shame he wouldn't work with the alamms. Maybe if and when a new owner comes in, which by that time, Barmbs will be collecting his pension.

You said why would anyone come....those you mentioned are "anyone" good job your not a lawyer as resting your case on that would have you laughed out ;)

We are a sinking ship, which captain would take command of a ship that's got a big hole in it already. A desperate one I would guess, and there are always a few out there that would take it on more or less at any cost.

Same old names trotted out again. What we need is a complete deep clean of our club. Start again from scratch with new owners who give a ****, a proven manager with L1/Championship experience and a team of upcoming hungry players combined with a few hardened professionals with the desire to achieve success. A fanbase to get behind the team and make the KCOM Stadium a place no opponent wants to visit.
I would aso like a Ferrari and the club badge changed to a unicorn.

Not sure a clear out is what's needed, and it isn't going to happen anyway ... beyond of course the usual clear out of any out of contract high earners which is pretty much now done anyway (just Toral, Stewart <unfortuantely) and McDonald's contracts to run out this month).
Allams ain't going anywhere unfortunately.
I expect McCann will be retained, as the 'experienced' L1 manager.
We do have some decent up & coming players.
"... with a few hardened professionals with the desire to achieve success" .... yep, it's this (along with the incompetence of Ehab, McCann & Byrne of course ... but they're unlikely to go anywhere) that was missing and that needs to change ready for next season.
Maybe, just maybe, they now realise that, and with those sort of additions we might have half a chance?

He took a job at Newcastle with a ****
He took a job at Brighton with a great owner who **** on him
He knows how the game works john

If I remember correctly he was already at Newcastle as an assistant and took over initially as caretaker and did a good job. First managers job.
At Brighton, he wasn't to know how he would be treated until the end.

His stock has risen since those days, and I think he wouldn't want to manage us at present, and moreover the Allam's wouldn't pay the sort of salary he would be wanting.

Hughton's last job was keeping Brighton in the Premiership, I can't imagine he is going to drop to League One.

There are always people wanting a chance, so we will get someone if the money is right. I would love the Cowley brothers, they did a great job at Concord, Braintree and Lincoln. They know how to work with minimal budgets, and clearly know how to win promotions (I think they have had 5 in their career).

There will be no compensation either so Ehab will like that.

Convinced they’ll stick with McCann. In there minds he did well at Doncaster and that’s the level we are sinking too barring a miracle.
McCann was given a four year contract at Peterborough 16th May 2016. August 2017 manager of the month!
February 2018 Sacked after no wins in seven matches. He’s beaten that run at Hull City by a Country mile.
Managed to get Doncaster in play offs but lost to Charlton.
Good Division one manager/coach matter of opinion. His record here should be untenable. Would be lucky to get a job in Non League football. The likes of Billy Heath could have done a better job at City.
Billy Blys Paperboy.

His CV is like the script of a Greek tradegy. Sacked by Peterborough, mid table Doncaster. 24th out of 24 in the championship. He'll struggle to get a job in the national league, but I guess we'll soon found out how he fairs vs the Barnet's and the Bromley's.

Hardened professionals with desire cost more than Ehab will pay
