Im sorry but kalou is ****ing clueless... what an absolute idiot... please can we get rid of him. He comes on and with 5 mins is offside, plays a **** ball and gives away a penalty.... really want him to leave the club along with malouda who was also crap...
Can't believe the substitution choice though, Lampard - the scorer off replaced by Kalou who conceeds a pen and loses the ball every time he gets it. Malouda was good in the 2nd half, he just didn't have the pace to get past the fullback.
I don't really blame AVB... how did he know that kalou would do such a ****ing stupid thing like that? Really hope he leaves our club. A waste of ****ing space.
I thought Malouda had a good game and kept the ball well with very good distribution and was involved in Lamps goal. The only difference was the goalkeeper had a blinder and the referee was bent.
Weird subs, why take torres off when his banned for 3 games? Why take lampard the scorer off? And why take the pace of ramires off? Thought they was our 3 best players tonight, thought drog should of come on aswell, no arguing though i can see why they come off apart from Torres, didn't see the point, he should of got the 90mins. Calm down the result is still a good one, we were the better team but had the bad luck. Definite penalty against Torres at 3 1/2 minutes but ref bottled it plus their goalie was fantastic. We are still favourites to top the group.
The ref was bent I'm a nuetral and that was a certain penalty on Torres first few mins.. as for Kalou
Fact is 1-1 is a great result but the manner in which we lost it is annoying... kalou mucked up but I think AVB has realised that kalou is letting the team down in most games he plays in... There is a reason kalou hasn't featured thus far in the premier league... he is ****.

Yes but had kalou not given away a stupid penalty we would have won... He did OKish apart from that... I don't know why torres was taken off.... Lets be honest, I think AVB now knows that kalou is shocking. He hasn't featured for us this season and there is good reason for it...

It was a great result in the groups hardest game and we would have steamrolled them had it not been for their keeper, the main debate is how much of a useless **** kalou is, absoulete ****er, thank **** it was in the group stage and not in a more important game or in the league, would of personally went have broke his leg myself, and the other fans probably love kalou lol, i've actually never had so much hate for one of our players, i'll always support all of them to the full but kalou lost my respect a long time ago, crap performance after crap performance. Awful player and his probably league 1 quality
A nuetrals view on Kalou, I've not seen him often enough, Chelsea fans would know better than anyone, but to sub Lampard who played well seemed a bit stupid to me! Also thought Torres was very unlucky not to score at least a couple of goals tonight. Their keeper kept them in the game, if he had not done so. Kalou's silly hand ball would not have mattered. Over the 90 mins I thought you deserved the win. Still, a great pt and good luck for the rest of the group stages fella's

The penalty was stupid but to be fair, Kalou came on at a time when we were taking a bit of a battering and didn't have time to settle or adjust to the pace Valencia were setting. For me, it was a poor substitution. Not becuase if was Kalou coming on but because it was a fairly light weight forward coming on for our midfield general at a time in the game when we need to try and fight for everything and retain possession. Anyway two other factors costs us three points more than Kalou, the ref with his bottle job with the Ramieres and Torres incidents first half and a top draw performance from their goalie. Our hardest game (on paper) out the way, 2 games against Genk coming up and top of the group. Could be worse, could be city!!
Kalou started excellently last season until he started getting dropped and even then it was a good season for him, scoring the offside winner against us! It's difficult to be in and out of the team as much as he is but that was madness last night and I thought he was dire against West Brom and rightly taken off early.
Fans are peculiar beasts. I saw Joe Cole play so badly you could of said the other team had a twelfth man, yet all the fan ratings had him as Chelsea MOTM! For some fans some players are untouchable and beyond reproach and apparently make no mistakes and when they do apparently it actually made no difference. For some fans some players are the root of all evil......... I was going to write something else but my NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming) brain just kicked in. What I'm describing is a a psychological effect that is well studied and well known. It is call the Horn and Halo effect. Cutting through the pyschobabble it basically boils down to that a first impression of someone massively colours you're perception of that person for the rest of your relationship. You never forget your first kiss etc. Regards players and fans it may not be the first time you saw a player but the first time you remember seeing them do something significant. Kalou suffers, Joe Cole benefited. Joe could be spectacular and for many fans the first impressing he made was lasting. Kalou is a hard worker, but not gifted, he suffers much the same way goalkeepers do. I guess many first saw Joe dribble past 60,000 then score and Kalou hit the post 4 times in one match and then forever their fate was sealed...........................mmmmmmmmmmseal
