Yep, you are right mate, in Reservoir Dogs Mr. White says, "if you shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologise", obviously nicked from the film you mean, which I now know because it was mentioned when I googled Reservoir Dogs

No chance. That's the uncomfortable truth as nobody but the priest will ever know.
That's the beauty of it. He refused to do as the priest asked, then does it, leaving multiple possibilities. Excellent cliffhanger.
