Tevez - A disgrace!

He wants to be sacked. Man City should just keep paying him but tell him he has to stay in the country but they dont want him anywhere near the training ground. If he does go abroad fine him 2 weeks wages for every week he isnt in the country

People like this do my head in. If he didnt want to stay he shouldnt of signed the contract.
 
surely he cannot be paid a penny? he is being paid to do a job that he refused to do. "head in the wrong place"- pathetic. Even so, nothing change from the moment he agreed to be a sub- waste of a place.

i was genuinely angry. problem is, what can they do? transfer window closed. Even if open, his demands mean he cant move, inter pulled out due to wages!!

dare i say it though, and i highly doubt he would, but if he left on loan to get him out of manchester, we would most likely be the targetted club due to our wages....
 
Im going to go into work later and say sorry i cant work today my head isnt in the right place. I will probaly get the sack for it. Why should footballers be any different. But saying that Tevez probaly wants the sack

well done mancini but of course man city are probably the only club rich enough to let him run his contract down without playing
 
He was pissed off he wasn't playing and so to protest about not playing he decides not to play when he has the chance?

Surely Man City can just sack him without paying him off (as I'm sure that's the only reason they haven't done yet) and claim a breach of contract. They offered him a contract to play football for Manchester City Football Club yet he's refused to do so. Like Proud said, if anyone else rang up work to say we weren't coming in we'd be sacked straight away.

Imagine how many people around the world would love to play just 1 minute in the Champions League against Bayern Munich and Tevez has the chance to play the sport he loves for a living and get paid handsomely for it. but he's thrown it back into the face of everyone who's supported him despite all his antics. The man is a disgrace and I hope he never plays in England again.

Tevez hasn't done himself any favours either. I doubt any top European club will take him on now. He's been trying to engineer a move for ages and he's probably thought that if he's going to leave, why not do it with a huge pay-off. Credit to Mancini as well for being hard on him. It would have been easy for Roberto to just dodge the issue and not talk about it but he's come out and condemned Tevez and rightly so.

Such a shame because he is a fantastic footballer but he obviously loves the money more than the game.

There are two issues with this one. Firstly, do they want him around the club until January and, will anyone pay that sort of money after yesterday. There probably will be as he's a good player (I reckon Mourinho at Madrid might take a gamble) but whether Man City would want him around the club I'm not to sure.

Man City can afford to pay him off and it would send out other messages to the rest of their players (Dzeko etc.) that they won't take any of that and the result of doing something like that will get you a £30 million move to Madrid or wherever else you want to go. In short, I don't think Man City will want to make it seem that Tevez has got his way and he leaves on City's terms. Or, they could sue him for breach of contract like Chelsea did with Mutu.
 
this guy is a grade A prick. On upwards of 100,000 a week- money most of us earn in 5, 6 years or more, and he refuses to play in a champions league game. There are not the words to describe him. He is a modern-day footballer plain and simple, think they are above normal society because of their ridiculous wealth, think they can dictate to clubs what they want to do, well im sorry i find this bloke laughable- plays for one of the biggest teams in the world, on stupid money and he cant stand a bit of rain. ****er
 
Err..............................................If mancini wants to give him a severe punishment by sending to a Championship on loan (and pay all his wages) I'd be happy for Sven to facilitate that punishment :emoticon-0141-whew:
 
How long is left on Tevez contract?
If Man C make Tevez see out his contract, he'll come of worst because he will rot away whilst at the peak of his career. He may be richer at the end of it but players aren't revered for how much they earn (although Winston Bogarde was happy to run down his Chelsea contract due to his high wages) Not yet anyway...

Very interesting one.

I'd say no because, I don't think it will benefit us. We'd only have him until January as someone will surely buy him. In that time, he might cause unrest in the dressing room and might upset the strikers we do have who will have to sit on the bench then come back after Jan having not played.

That said, I would be very annoyed if West Ham got him because he is a quality player. West Ham have also signed Manuel Almunia. Might ease our scoring problems when we play them.
