I have left The Other Guys and am working on another project with my original bass player. I have a couple of drummers in mind, and then it's a case of getting the right vocalist.

Could never imagine someone actually wanting to be a vocalist. In school when i was in little bands with friends now and again we could never get someone to sing.

Guy whos not as good at guitar or imo just lacking confidence goes rhythm and he has to sing. Poor ****er.

They are somewhat bemused at my leaving. But I've been pulling in a different direction for a while. It's easy to kid yourself that everything is okay, and just keeping grinning, especially when the gigs keep coming thick and fast. In the end, leaving was fairly easy, and this lockdown has provided the perfect cover.

I'm already planning the next load of stuff.

I'm thinking of calling the new band Les Blues.
