No need to bring my family into this Wj. That's seems to be a Harrogate trait. Did you know this lad, how do know he was an angel, are you just going by what the press reported. As my son or sons are privileged white(according to the scum left/blm/anarchrist) and brought up to respect most things in life, they wouldn't have put themselves in that position. I don't appreciate you or anyone bringing my family into discussions on this site when they aren't here to defend themselves. I was making a light hearted comment trying to defuse this on going battle between yourself and LL. It didn't work and so I won't bother again. FFS some people on here need to get their sense of humour back.<ok> I'm surprised at you WJ.<ok>
Have you ever noticed that when a young person dies, from any cause, there are immediate tributes saying what a lovely person they were, so caring and kind, loved by everyone. No-one ever says, "well, he/she was a right little bastard that was a real arsehole and didn't have any friends". Seems to me that everyone takes the expression 'only the good die young' to the extreme. Not all people are angels and nasty people do die.

You're still here Brizzy :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0148-yes:

NZ has a few as well, the last time I looked. Most of the new cases here are in Victoria (77 new cases yesterday) but somebody travelled to Sydney from Victoria and tested positive after starting work at a Woolies and another returned home via Melbourne and Brisbane and tested positive in the Northern Territories. So, you're right, it could kick off again. Talking seriously about air bridges for a moment, as far as your air bridge to here is concerned I would say it is unlikely to happen this year.
We've just had - 30,000 cases today, the best in the world. Good old Boris <laugh>

(QUOTE) Can someone please explain what this 'mute' is? It seems to be a facility that only Captain Jackboot imagines he has.

I think he's referring to the 'people you ignore' option, known commonly as 'blocking'. But he's got it arse about tit, if it is indeed blocking to which he actually refers.

Now if I understand it correctly, if buggerlugs has me blocked, he should not see anything I post, as is his choice. But he seems to see everything I post, yet is under the misapprehension that I can't see his ridiculous posts. This suggests very strongly to me that I'm not blocked, as we can see each others' posts. If so, what a fcukin' knob-end. Then again, par for the course for him to post crap that he believes to be true.

Am I wrong, or is there a strange 'mute' facility? (UNQUOTE)

And I'm surprised at you! :)

I didn't try to upset you, I simply asked how you would feel if it was your son that was unjustly treated like this. In that circumstance, would you see the funny side of a joke?
I'm not going to get into a hundred page debate with you on the wrongs and rights of IMO getting personal with someone you've met and whose helped out including my sons in the past. That I'll always be grateful for. A stranger on here who doesn't know me and says something well I'd be annoyed but as they've never met me I wouldn't take it as bad. I made a throwaway comment, a bad attempt at humour maybe, but I never mentioned the victim, never mentioned the incident, which happened a year a go( and what a great time to have a vigil when all this **** is going on) probably stirred up and hi-jacked by the blm (who have their own hidden agenda) Anyway you think you were right and I think you were wrong. We'll just have to leave it at that. I'll just let you and your nemesis get on with your discussions.<ok>

If someone is blocked you are right, the person who blocked them can't see their comments and will only see "ignored person" But I think the blocked person can still see the comments made by the blocker. (if that makes sense) :grin:

Not for me to advise you what to do Shaks regarding Jocky boy, but you are right, he's on mute and I can't see his comments, while at same time I can read his comments, but Jocky boy doesn't seem to be able to work it out.........that's why he's a welly.....:emoticon-0136-giggl
