I never understand why folks have such hatred of other teams unless it’s Liverpool of course as their fans are vomit inducing. I can only summise they got bummed by certain teams fans when they were young and now hate them as a consequence.

yeah, getting a club to punch above their weight and done a good job. However he's been awful with the money though. The more they spend the worse they get. Look at this pile of **** they've signed and for the costs: LLoyd Kelly 13m Phillip Billing 15m Rich 11m Lerma 25m Solanke (who left on a free from chelsea to pool) for 19m and had scored **** all for either club Mepham 12m Ibe 15m Rico 13m Begovic 10m A lot of money gambling on "rough gems" cause they may have played in the england u21s. Most of them had done feck all. Decent signings Ake for 20m Brooks for 11m

Yeah that's what I was alluding to that they / he has spent poorly. Says it all that in their third PL season the bulk of the team was still made up of their Championship/League one squad.
Ole Ron has always been Mr Gillingham to me, had some great memories of him between the sticks. I did even go to Northfleet one time as a young lad, no one fooking told me Gravesend & Northfleet was miles from Gravesend Station Obviously all before Ebbsfleet. I always thought if Gills went under, I'd probably go and watch Ebbsfleet instead. Would love to have seen that friendly against Clough's 11. I remember going up to Nott's County, standing in the shadow of Forest, made me wish I had gone and watched the old Forest play that day.
