Been reading about the virus spike in my home City ... 'unusually high incidents in children' ... since the schools reopened ... and the knock-on seems to be prevalent in the South East Asian areas where larger families with elderly relatives in the same home are common ... and where newly infected kids will be returning to after school ... predictable? ... I'd say so.
Whether it's Leicester, Eastbourne, Brixton, I'm really not sure what people have not understood about social distancing. We've been dealing with social distancing and self isolation for nigh on four months now.
I understand and hear the messages as I predicted last night, that people could just drive out of area, to attend a bar or restaurant, yes they certainly could, but it also shows the selfish mentality we are dealing with in people. Bog roll gate and people prepared to join 2 hour queues. So taking an hour drive is going to be a breeze for them.
We've known from the start, that some people think the rules don't apply to them, yeah, yeah, I know Dominic. People doing their own thing and using that thing called commonsense, when what commonsense really seems to mean to them, I will work the rules as I please, because I'm special and when things peak, we'll just blame the Tories, even though I left my tin hat at the last mass gathering I attended.
We should reach a new state of euphoria on Saturday, with tanked up humans, what delights to look forward to and share. If the reopening of bars ties in with another heat wave it should be fun. Maybe we could get Aberdude, to do us a rain dance and pray to the gods for a downpour.
