I like how LTF has changed her name for that snappy approach. I'd change mine to AP but I'd probably get banned for setting up a fake manager account.

Oh, welcome by the way <ok>

You've changed your name more than anyone else, how many times have you been deceased,.....:emoticon-0105-wink:
Good news about your job though<cheers>

Welcome, introduce yourself a bit man!

Fair enough. I'm originally from North Shields, I met an American lass years ago and emigrated to the US. Get back for one or two matches these days every year.

I've been lurking for a while on this board, and I thought I'd introduce myself. Mostly because it hooked me up with the stream for the Blackburn match. Also this seems like a board with decent crack.

I'll try and get the lass to post, just so we can increase the female thing by 50%. She's a huge Newcastle fan too.

Good stuff. I'm looking to move to New York in the next couple of years myself, how hard was it for you to get work in order to move over there? Or did you guys get married or something?

Yeah, we got married. At first it wasn't that hard to find work - I worked for a Marine Contractor for a bit doing **** welding and **** rigging - but I think it's a lot harder now. If you have a skill and some company will sponsor you then you can make the jump. I ended up having to go to college though.

Cool, so far me and my girlfriend have been applying for jobs over there that advertise that they'll recruit & sponsor from abroad so hopefully something comes off, though its taking a long time - not sure we could afford college especially as it's New York City we're after which isn't exactly cheap haha.

Well, it's less expensive that you probably think -provided you don't want to live in the fancy parts of manhattan.

But it is also like the rest of the world right now, and there aren't many jobs available.

I would like more Geordies in the Bronx though.
