The Professional Game Match Officials Limited has decided to move their headquarters to Barnard Castle. In future all match officials will have to drive there to receive details of the matches for which they will officiate. That will enable the PGMOL to be certain that the officials' eyesight is good enough to referee a game.

Keeps United further down the table which isn't a bad thing. The fans that support them and Liverpool in Ireland drive me mad. Generally clueless and fiercely annoying!

I had forgotten how irritating Liverpool fans were but I think they have been the best team this season by a country mile. In some games they have been decisive. However, I would reiterate what I posted earlier this week, they have won in a season where their nearest rivals, Man City, have been disappointing. The other "Top Six" teams have been very poor this season with Spurs failing to move on from last season and Arsenal being especially disappointing. If you look at the number of points one by every team in the league, it has been a poor season for most teams except the likes of Wolves and Sheffield Utd.

Next season will be different. I do wonder if Mane and Salah can perform brilliantly for a third season and whether Liverpool will further strengthen. It will be unlikely that Man City will be off the pace for two seasons in a row and I have felt that Man Utd are ripe for a resurgence. I just think that United will recruit sensibly and could expect them to put a challenge in along with City and Chelsea. There have been signs during the restart that Utd are starting to click but they have threatened this a few times under Oli. Liverpool will not have it so easy next season and I don't think they will retain the title. I see City winning the title in 20/21 but Utd chasing Liverpool hard for second spot assuming that they do grab the likes of Grealish. Seeing Liverpool win this season will hurt at Old Trafford.

IMO Liverpool will struggle to retain the title next season, City will spend where needed and Chelsea are already strengthening.
Plus it’s likely Liverpool will lose Mane this window, he’s wants to go to Real and now has his title and champions league under his belt he will be off.........then Liverpool will have to try a recruit to fill them big boots.

Chelsea are way off challenging for the title.

Hopefully we have a decent sell on clause for Mane, if he does move on.

let’s just see what recruitment they do before dismissing them. They are already trying to play in the style of city and liverpool. A quality CB plus Werner (already signed) makes a big improvement. I’m sure they’ll add more too.

I agree, I wouldn’t write them off too soon.

L*verpool have been the media w@nkfest for a couple of years now, it’s probably saddest that the fans think people in the media actually care.... like always, they’re chasing the money.

It’s only been a year since Klopp actually won anything and that performance in the CL final owed more to underperformance by Spuds and the red card.

They have been consistent this year, but fans thinking that it’s anything other than the money lying for consistency are kidding themselves. I’m still not sure many/any teams have actually given them a decent game for a full 90 mins.

Am I bitter, no, frustrated the media forget that for any winning team, the Mickey mousers one this case have systematically dismantled teams less financially well off than them.
The media love-in with Liverpool is nothing compared to the oñe Real Madrid will get if they win La Liga.
