This is aimed at those on here who are giving it stick again... Most of you know my thoughts on the manager which is that he is not the right man for the job however even I have to admit that to get the sack based on tonight's performance would be harsh. We OWNED the game for 70 minutes and were well on the road to being back to full potential and had more shots than the rest of the season put together... Sadly, we are fragile at the moment and when McDermott made one tactical sub, we didn't match it and as soon as they got one back, we imploded. We saw the best and worst all in the same performance and like a lot of others, I am still a bit shellshocked as to how we lost that game to te extent that I haven't even got to angry yet...
I'm f****** fuming missed two of the Reading goals, one whilst having a wazz and another as I turned around to talk to someone. Did manage to see DJs blunder though.
Can't give it a rest... I'm bloody angry that we have not learnt on the training field how to be tight at the back when we are 2-0 up. We can not go on and on with the set up we've got... It needs to be sorted and quick.
It was going great, then back to Millen land. I couldn't believe it but people around me ended up predicting the score and they were right and I looked and felt a right wombat.. God, this ain't the City I know...
You are two nill up playing well and you still loose, that is seriously concerning. A tanking at Blackpool Saturday how much longer,
he shouldve taken carey off he not ready to play the full 90 mins hes too slow and i hope gerken back in goal sat as i'll be there
premorbust how long is a footy match 90 min i believe 95 last night so we play well for 70 min and have the right to win think not but glad you enjoyed the game but from the atyeo end where the goals went in last 25 mins was poor where was you sat
In the Ateyo - I had moved down to the front, right behind the goal for the 3rd one. James has questions to answer re the 1st goal and the 2nd one is solely down to him... Of course you play to the final whistle, I was just totally shellshocked by how badly we went to pieces at the end but we did play well up to that point and the crowd got right behind the team. We saw the best and the worst of it last night... I blame the East End, fancy singing "how **** must you be, we're winning at home" - at 2-0, kind of tempted fate really...
Yes, but when James walked of the pitch after his blunder, he looked at Millen, and said that was your fault.
