Since we've been back in the Championship is this the 1st time we've been in the bottom 3? Though our current form is poor I'm not going to get too worried just yet. But if October is as **** as September...........
"Hopefully" we can bounce back positive : we scored -even if it was with a cross / shot negatives: but the watford forum guys said we looked bad upfront and maybe our defence is slacking also 40% possession is poor
Yeah definitely the first time in the bottom 3 which is a bit worrying. I would be ****ting myself if we were still there at Xmas though.
Exactly mate and Crippled have spent the last two seasons fighting the drop and never went down so we should have no worries!
Seems like the team all rely on someone who has a pretty bad history with injuries. Good start to season was because of Henderson and you can't deny since he has been gone we have been ****. As soon as he is back the goals will return but i am getting worried by our defense, 3 clean sheets in 9 games is pretty poor by our standards so need to work on that.
We dropped to 17th last season where we went through a rough 14 game stint (including Carling Cup) with returns of 2 wins, 5 draws and 7 loses. That lasted the whole of September and October, and half of November. An away win at Middlesbrough kick-started a run of 9 league games without loss, picking up 5 wins and 4 draws. That run of 19 points took us back up to 9th. I have no worries about KJ, the board or the team. Looking at the table as it stands, if we beat Burnley on saturday we will go above them. We might push up to about 17th, but then only be 6 or 7 points from the play-offs. A run of a couple of wins and a draw would have us sitting in the top half and our worries would subside. It would also breed confidence into the players and things that have not happend over the past month will start coming together.
Exactly, a few wins and we start looking at the playoffs spots again, a few more loses and we have a gap to escape from the bottom 3.
This is the problem. A win sounds easy but when the team isn't playing well even a point is hard to come by. Don't think this is about form but the quality of the squad and improved opposition.
We knew it was always going to be a much tougher & stronger league this season with the teams coming down & going up.
It just won't happen, Marquis hat-trick.....I hope!!! By the way - did anyone else see how good Andros looked when he came on for Spurs last night?
Morning tom happy Friday's I turned over when sicknote anderton on SPN said it was 1-0 Shamrock and was well impressed with Andros bombing down the left flank as if he owned it! Why didn't we get him
Don't know if I'm going yet mate due to my missus' family circumstances so hopefully it'll work itself out. Fancy a beer before the game or if your bringing the wife then 3's a crowd as I'll be billy no mates tomorrow so fair enough mate I understand?
yup - I'll be with her indoors and a couple of mates - normally start in the weatherspoon in Greenwich
I know it is a big disappointment but that's the problem when players do very well, they attract attention elsewhere e.g. Puncheon too
