I stopped reading the sky sports link about it when they kept referring to it as 'appearing to grab'...as if it was up for debate. He definitely grabbed him around the neck. There is irrefutable evidence. What would normally get considered as assault doesn't seem to count on the football field, which is a whole different debate.
But I just don't understand how VAR has seen it (supposedly) and not acted. Like how!? If a Saints player did that I would expect them to get sent off. That's a red card every time. How can you watch that and decide otherwise? I don't get it. I'm sure Tom will explain.

And it's not just VAR. Decisions can still be retrospectively changed after the game. For example, Son's red card got overturned on appeal (when Gomes broke his leg).

No idea why he wasn't sent off at the time by VAR or why he wasn't charged afterwards. Definitely violent conduct.

Three Arsenal players were unable to train in the build-up to last week's defeat at Manchester City after one of them returned a positive Covid-19 test.
Arsenal have refused to name the individual and he also came into close contact with two other players.
The trio showed no symptoms, were tested again - this time all negative - and trained before the City game.
