Why BLM want it removed: Horatio Nelson was outspokenly opposed to the abolition of the slave trade. He had close links with prominent slavers and tried to prevent the abolitionist William Wilberforce from bringing about an end to Britain's involvement in the slave trade.

Maybe not as famous as the one in Trafalgar Square in London but any idea where this one is located?
Top marks if you said Bridgetown Barbados where this version was erected 30 years before its more famous counterpart in London. Are the Black Lives Matter (West Indies Branch) chaps demanding this be torn down too? The answer is YES! comforting to know there are retro-historians all over the world.
