Quick tip for anyone who is about to experience their first match tomorrow behind closed doors, if you find it weird/boring turn the sound completely off and it begins to look like a real game.
After watching 9 German and 4 Spanish games i found it worked for me and improved the quality of the watch immensely.

Trust me mate, it's ****. You hear the odd comment and the manager shouting, you hear feeble cheers and claps from the bench and every kick of the ball but it's ****.
Turn the sound off and watch the game.

Yeah I know...I’ve watched a few highlights..it sounds like youre sat at the swimming baths...hoping to hear Jose drop some bantz

That’s a decent tip.

I noticed the Germans have started putting canned crowd noise on the tannoys with a bloke pressing the buttons for the appropriate crowd reaction. A telly clappers wet dream.

I was thinking, if they do this in the PL and they were to put out our regular chants they’d struggle to find any without any swearing. I bet most clubs would be the same.

If you can't hear '**** VAR' every time the screen goes purple is it really the 19/20 season?

Think they're using noise from the fifa game here rather than genuine crowd noise too.

Maybe just me but i had watched a few games and was bored to **** but "football" so i watched. I got one stream where the sound didn't work and found it much better, have watched all the rest in silence since.

Am a bit worried about Astro, same as NSIS. None of them seem the type to be arsed enough about other people just to leave (although Astro had never ventured off the pool board before so hard to say).

Astro got site banned mate. Brb unbanned him a few days later, but he’s not been back since, so he’s either locked himself out or he’s taken his bat and ball home.
 
Anyone watching the villa v sheff Wed game?

Is that fake crowd noise? Or the few peeps in the stands?
