Like I said, WJ can't grow anything between his ears, water just runs away.
Quite glad I can't grow anything between my ears. Why would you want to? <yikes>

You carry on trying though, but the only thing I know that grows between the ears is cancer. Which might go some way towards explaining your evidently unstable mental state. <doh>

@WJ, firstly, I urge you to watch anything, literally anything, other than F-ucker Hardon! He purposefully presents lies and inaccurate data. He is a complete trump sycophant and a twat.

Honestly, since Wednesday of last week, I have been extremely busy and have not watched TV very much. I have caught glimpses of the events in Seattle but honestly don't know enough to discuss it.

Now before certain posters jump on me, I will state it again:

There is no excuse for engaging in criminal behavior. I'm not just talking about law enforcement's criminal behavior but I am talking about those who take the law into their own hands, engage in defacing and destroying property, looting and assaulting people.
Perhaps, but this wasn't about Trump. It's about a 'new country' in Seattle. It's perfectly factual, with lots of evidence to support this in the video. Are you telling me that he's made it up? Even the Police evacuated their precinct for them!

Tommy Robinson is far right racist, Antifa are far left racist, as far as my opinion goes they are both bad for society.
What is the evidence to support your claim that Antifa is racist. I have never read anything about this. Sounds like someone is making it up.

Here's an article that might help you learn a little about them, albeit with a US flavour. In it, you'll find that they are indeed anti-racism. So why are you calling them racist? Please provide evidence to support your claim, if you can find anything truthful - and not an opinion from a nutter like Captain Jackboot.

Surely they are anti black racist....my own opinion:grin:

Please explain why you think they were on the wrong side of history.

Don't put words into my mouth, I don't condone the violence perpetrated by these organizations, but the reality is they were left without much choice. Especially the ANC. If you don't know this, go read. I recommend Nelson Mandela's autobiography.

I lived through apartheid and the ANC activity. What's the basis for your opinion?
Go on Jonny tell us how burning a little black kid called Stompy to death with a burning tyre was all good. Done by whinnie Mandela and the ANC.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't apartheid only end through Nelson Mandela giving up violence ?

History is written by the winners, people justify dreadful things in 'war' to achieve their aims. Neither Mr nor Mrs Mandela were saints that's for sure. 'Freedom fighters' are rarely kind to informers for obvious reasons, but Necklacing was a vile and sick way to act as a deterrant.

I think Jonny's point is generally in these cases there are terrible crimes committed on both sides. There isn't always a 'right' side of the argument, but in cases like apartheid, most people would say there was one. Does the end justify the means? Depends on your perspective.

If you justify one, then it justifies all.

I don't mean YOU personally

He's asleep. The mot has Good morning on and how bias and sanctimonious are the presenters and twats like janet street porter towards the riots. All about the right wingers and no condemnation regarding three weeks of rioting by the other lot.<grr>

Not that you're political or anything. <laugh><laugh>

The idiot caught pissing next to a police memorial pleaded guilty today and got 14 or 16 days in jail (can’t remember what they said on the radio news) I hope the same if not more severe punishment will be dealt to those defacing other statues and buildings with BLM graffiti
He got 14 days in custody for outraging public decency, well he is a Tottenham supporter.

No and no!

Winnie Mandela and the Mandela Football Club, a vigilante group of thugs and criminals was disgraceful. Nelson Mandela was enraged by this setup and by the murder you have noted. It ultimately led to their divorce and estrangement.

Nelson Mandela was a professional, lawyer, at a time when it was extremely difficult for a black person to become anything in South Africa.

You are wrong. Nelson Mandela refused to give up violence, noting ANC violence was in reaction to SAPS and SADF violence. He was right. After decades of peaceful protest being met with a heavy handed government response, the ANC saw no other path. He repeatedly refused being let out jail - alone (would not leave his colleagues behind) or in exchange for a renunciation of violence as the only means left after all the people and organizations had been banned.

I mean this genuinely, I am happy to exchange ideas so we can all learn from each other.

I am confident that you will agree with me this is not a personal issue between us.
