I’m actually going to the pub after work. Church on the hill (very very rough) is doing takeaway pints and scran. The pint comes in a plastic milk bottle tho but at least it’s something to do innit?

The landlady of pub round here did that the last bank holiday. Naturally someone grassed, and as she didn't want trouble with the council, she stopped doing it.

Yeah, she seemed pretty sure she was allowed to do it, but people were complaining to the council about noisy drinkers gathering in the park over the road. If you're a publican the council reviews your licence every few years so she didn't want the hassle.
