I see that Mr Trump is going to re-start his election rallies and all those who go will be asked to sign waivers, not to sue if they then get the virus.

Also keep an eye on 19th June.

Just got send this by a friend and retired Prof of Philosophy in Ventura:

Juneteenth day is the US which celebrates the end of Slavery. I didn't see that what happened as a result of George Floyd's killing was predictable just so. So what I see lining up on Juneteenth seems a lot more predicable- help me to see what I believe will be horrific violence will not occur: 1) Junteenth-a day commemorating the end of slavery in the USA; 2) Juneteenth the first full trump Rally in months; 3) Trump Rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth; 4) Tulsa the location 99 years ago of maybe the worst race massacre in American history ;4) The heightened feelings of Trump supporters who feel the need for police and military action against protesters ;5) Angry protestors who are loudly voicing the cry fro racial justice, police reform and new social contract. My math sums this up to a very ugly event, maybe historically so, and I cannot fathom how it doesn't seem as if this is the plan.

It's impossible to see it any other way. There's going to be trouble and he'll use it to his advantage. The mock horror will be off the scale.

It's obvious to me and I suspect to many. This is now Trump's campaign strategy, in the same way that he organised the optics for his now infamous Bible photo op. He'll try and engineer a situation on 19th June that causes as much chaos as possible, so that he can be seen to be the 'law and order' president, a man needed to quell the violence.

The irony will be lost on Trump's supporters though, that he is the one orchestrating and manipulating the whole thing.

It’s nothing more than a desperate president trying anything, to try and bolster his standing.

The trouble has already started in the US without Trump orchestrating it lol

He's run out of foreigners to blame, so he's now turned on his own people.

MAGA
When you’ve got nothing but lies and racism, then eventually you come up against something where those two angles won’t cut it. For Trump that was coronavirus.

Fook it, they should do what I would do, lie, then tell the truth once the live cameras are running. Especially if you knew prior that Van-Tam had been removed. At briefing just now, they are denying this, and that she will appear at the briefings again. Something pinned to her twitter account, might be worth someone looking, to check this out.

Where the fook is everyone today, you all gone back to work!?

My company are worried, with most working from home, that If we get through the next couple of months and the restrictions are lifted, every ****er will be booking time off. As a result, we’ve been told that we must use 50% of our entitlement by the end of August!
I’ve had the last couple of days off, working on a little refurbishment project on a house that I bought just before lockdown. It’s been quite nice tbh. Just me, the radio and an assortment of power tools!!

I'm not allowed near power tools, in fact even I wouldn't let me near power towels <laugh>

I really hope companies keep people working from home, my family have been since lockdown, and tbph I see no reason for that to change, because most work can be done from a laptop. I think all companies might need to do after this virus, is schedule in monthly visits for employees, into their place of work. It would certainly help the environment from a travel perspective, all been unneccessary for far too long, so some good hopefully to come from this shhite. Another good thing with home working, even if you feel like shhite, you are more likely to keep working, than if you had to travel into a office, so many win, wins. Certainly would keep things such as flu viruses under better control.

Said ages ago that I reckon a large percentage of those sent to work from home will never return.

I’ve just been told 4 inmates in Durham have just been took to hospital. Not sure if it’s anything to do with this virus. 2 of them are in a really bad way.
