Our society has evolved to the point where pooves are revered, blacks and Asians are in top positions all over the country and men can now transform into women and most importantly, 98% of the general public don't give two fks about the colour of someone's skin.

Folk need to stop with the endless nonsense and get on with living their lives as opposed to pretending that they are offended and if they are offended, then they need to grow up.

I wasn't talking about him hating poovery or being racist. He was pro-Hitler ffs <laugh>

I know views have changed, i'm not ******ed, I'm not even arguing for statues to be pulled down ffs. I just don't see why people are defending ****s born hundreds of years ago that were blatantly ****s. No one is blowing up statues, just put them in museums ffs.

Lots of folk were pro-Hitler in the 30s, FFS, there's still folk who are pro-Communism (even still pro-Stalin) despite seeing the horrendous consequence of said policies on human life and the Soviet economy.

Poole seemed like a noble man in the main and died in 1942 so daresay he might have changed his opinion about Hitler before he died. Lest we forget that fascism was en-vogue in Britain in the 20s and 30s.

Pulling down statues does nothing at all but bay to the angry mob and if you give in to the angry mob, then they will just move on to something else to vent their apparent offence at.
