Didn't he also consider contending for the London Mayoral election several years back as a Conservative Party candidate?
Given their track record of racism and bigotry, I have absolutely no idea why he'd want to do such a thing.

He was a fantastic player and an Arsenal legend for what he achieved on the pitch.
As a person? Doesn't seem like a moral or ethical bloke at all.

He put himself forward for the Tory candidacy, but failed to make the shortlist. He's also a Brexiter.
He thinks that he's better than everyone else and that voting Tory somehow embraces that.

I'm special. I'm more intelligent than other footballers. I survived and others wouldn't. He's quite Trumpian.

Never quite understood why people of colour subscribe to ideas and values that are entrenched in white supremacy. Him or any of his ancestors wouldn't have even been accepted in that party not so long ago in human history!

He's spoken about how his parents could've been affected by the Windrush scandal, if they hadn't already passed away:

Ex-Spurs player scoring past an Ex-Arsenal player in bizarre fashion. Ospina is such an erratic 'keeper <laugh>

1-1 on aggregate. Napoli's away goal advantage wiped out in less than 3 minutes.

His biggest weakness for us was his corners, 9 times out of 10 he failed to beat the first man and here he is scoring from one (albeit tragic keeping from Ospina)... Spursy or what?! Lol.

And it was still a ****ing terrible corner! <laugh>
Two defenders just watch it go straight past them and the third follows Lukaku and ignores the ball entirely.

FT. 1-1. Napoli win 2-1 on aggregate.

They defended resolutely, but Inter were pretty toothless for the most part. Which doesn't reflect well on them considering the array of attacking talent they have. Conte isn't getting the best out of that Inter team. Still seem like quite a disjointed side, despite how talented their individual players are.

Ospina made amends for the opening goal with a fantastic drop-kick diagonal pass leading to the equaliser.
Insigne latches onto the pass, gets in behind Inter's defence and squares it for Mertens to score.

Second half was basically a chess game, with Inter pushing in the final 15 minutes, but having no luck.

Napoli vs Juve in the Coppa Italia final it is. Sarri against his former club.

Inter seem to have gone down the pan since Erikson joined them. Shame really!

They forgot to turn on the VAR, having turned if off during the Lock-down and the Referees watch is out of battery charge.

Remember, the ref for this glorified friendly is Michael Oliver, and he has a hell of a lot of previous this season for not using VAR

So did VAR, to be fair. It wasn't the most exhilarating game.

Look at that lovely summer weather up in Manchester. Minute's silence replaced by a minute monsoon.
