I'm not sure if anyone has ever looked at it, but I took the trouble to go through the WHO timeline the other day, the advice was clear, the advice was very clear for anybody that wanted to listen to it. The problem was in the UK the WHO advice was not listened to, then acted on too late. We should have shut down weeks before we did, based on that information, not only that, lets give the government benefit of doubt, because I am an understanding person, let's just accept they fooked up for one moment......BUT...what was the ultimate sin, was not following the next bit of advice, test, test, test, fooking test. To make a mistake is fine, to be plain deaf as well has stoopid is inexcusable.

 

I completely agree with you, adding to this with the carnage generated by releasing covid positive patients into care homes and pointless grand gestures of the nightingale hospitals just leads me to the conclusion that we have a totally inept government. Beyond the failures it is the absolute refusal to acknowledge it and act as if any criticism is being aimed at the NHS staff and carers that their choices put in harms way.

 

I reckon once this is all over, there will be mass legal challenges, especially from the families of lost loved ones, I expect it to turn out to be one of the biggest scandals in my lifetime. I very much doubt I will live to see it's conclusion, as it will be played out for decades to come.
