Me? I'd love some extra cash and if I have to say it is because my ancestors were thrown into chains by The Mick a few hundred years ago I might just get a bit of compo.

Contrary to popular opinion the pyramids weren't built by slaves, or at least not all were slaves. Historians reckon it was deemed to be an honour to work on the final resting place of the Pharaoh who was often considered to be a deity himself. Architects, stone masons, engineers etc would have been free men, the Jews got to dig the latrines and general lifting and shifting jobs because the were slaves before Charlton Heston took them off on holiday in the desert.
