Firstly, I will take anything the BBC states with a huge pinch of salt due to their obvious left wing bias.

Secondly, I see nothing in the article that mentions racial colonisation other than the slave trade was abolished and GB had to make money elsewhere using cheap sub-continent labour or indentured labourers who worked in appaling conditions like probalby 99% of humanity in the 1800.

Correct Baz. The BBC are lefty loonies. Plus they were quite happy to cover up rampant *****philia in their ranks. They should be ****ing disbanded. And their programmes are ****ing ****.

You didn't read the part about tea not taking off in Europe until slaves started working sugar fields and somehow think slaves were picked for...their personality?
