Ahh Yeh of course. Aint seen it for years, his 1st film I believe, surprised you liked it given the subject matter.

 

I was a teenager when I watched it. it just sprung to my mind and thought a few on here might not have seen it who like all that ****e

 

Doubt I'd watch it now, can't watch old films anymore, too dated, and ruin what I remembered about them many a time.

Yeah but only the first is any good.

 

The problem is that the first two seasons are not great but it's worth the wait for season 3.

 

2nd ones good too. Imo, not as good of course but still watchable

 

First season is great, went too feminist for me in the second season. Haven’t watched the third

 

Thought the first was good 2nd a bit dull but the 3rd is brilliant.

 

Sat and watched Lord of the rings last night (early evening)

Was strange, as have the nephew here, and he's read the books, And he pointed out so much i didn't know, even though i've seen them all several times.

 

I hate watching films i have read the books of, they very rarely match the imagination you put into the book and because of time restrictions often leave salient points out.

 

Yes I used to feel the same about Readers Wives.

Finished season 2 of the wire.
Enjoyed it. Thought the last couple of episodes where very good.
Going to start season 3 tonight hopefully.

 

Was a bit slow for me that season but glad you enjoyed it, class show!
