Their totalitarian approach to governing their own people should worry us more than some black guys living in London and some Pakistanis raping white chav girls.
The conversations on social media are horrendous from all sides though.
Folk concerned with immigration are not all racists, all Africans are not violent, all Pakistanis are not rapists. As always, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
What 99% of people is internal harmony, fanning flames of identity politics and making up bullshit lies will not provide anyone on any side with any degree of inner peace.

I watched the Chinese pepper spray protesters on C4 last night and it reminded me that im old enough to remember Trump tear gassing protests, Boris deploying water cannons and extinction rebellion under 15s being proscribed as a terrorist group.

Forgive me but according to Black History Month the first and second world wars were won for England entirely by the sacrifices made by Afro-Caribbean soldiers, sailors and fighter pilots. Why would uppity negroes not want memorials cleaned?
Interesting that the statue is of Gen Haig who single handed sent more white English troops over the top to their imminent deaths in one day that the entire number of troops from the Caribbean who joined up in WW1.
Also interesting is the lyric from Bob Marley's song Buffalo Soldier "If you know your history, then you would know where you are coming from". Ah yes, a song about Rastafarians being taken from the Caribbean and made to fight in the US Civil War. Rastafarianism started in the 1930's but Rastas fought in a war 70 years earlier? Perhaps it was the time travelling sensimilla Marley was toking that made him write that gem.

The problem is the Chinese state and their threat to individual liberty, individual freedoms and ultimately, their role in the world.

The far left and BLM certainly do not like Nazis which coincidentally the dead that are honoured by war memorials perished fighting .
I need Ash Sarkar or Stormzy to explain the logic behind this to me , I'm probably looking at history through a lens of white privilege .
