There is quite a lot that doesn’t sit right with me over the season ticket/****ty stream pass fiasco. However, something that has come out (the alledged Rodwell 3%) does make sense. If he was always meant to be part of the deal (and to ensure the nod and a wink on the “fit and proper person test” doesn’t come back to haunt them) then getting Rodwell and anyone else (new club secretary from Eastleigh) inside the club in time for a sale would make sense. Maybe the ticket fiasco is a deliberate f*ck up/get back at the fans/f*ck you yanks childish manoeuvre that you’d expect from these tw@ts? Here’s hoping.
sabotage, pure & simple. the yanks have played the long game, and now SD &co are backed into a corner, naked and afraid. so their last desperate act of defiance is to say......'here's your club FPP, but we've holed it below the waterline by destroying the strongest thing the club posesses, the loyal fanbase' Its about as low as you can get really.
Wouldn’t put it past the little fat twat to do this, hopefully the yanks know that the loyal fan base would still be there if/when they took over.
if FPP did takeover the fans would come back instantly. Granted a few may be lost, the problem is now, those who have cancelled DD’s will be unlikely to set one up again for next season so it will all need to be paid upfront.

IF they sell up, it would be a great way for the new owners to get the fans on side at the beginning by allowing people who cancelled under SD to spread the payments over the season
I think football will continue to take a massive hit, even after the fans can return to the stadiums. I havnt missed football in the slightest, and with folk losing their jobs, a combination of not caring as much as what a person once thought and no money coming into households, might mean a reduction in gates and sky money for clubs. I would get some sort satisfaction if football fell on its arse, I would feel sad for those losing jobs behind the scenes, but not for those sitting in the posh mansions.

the club would be a forward thinking mans dream, get it right in the pitch and the fans return, decades Of dross have worn down most of us, those left are just turning out cos they can’t stand B&Q or their wives/blokes.
There are so many options to get the fans inside it’s astounding they have chosen what to do, personally I want to keep my DD going, I’m in a situation where I have put aside the payment but In 3-6 months I don’t know if I’ll have a job. If I bail the DD now I’ll never go back just because I’ll end up doing something else and that is not what I want to do.
It’s financial suicide what they have done, gonna be less than 5k season ticket holders.
As I am ancient, I pay a reduced fee and I have a seat right on the half way line which I am reluctant to give up. So I will keep my automatic renewal going to support the club. However as we are likely to remain in the turd division, even if spectators are allowed I doubt i will make the trip to the SoL too often.

Mind they are reserving seats even if you don't renew at present, so you can wait until fans are allowed back and they've guaranteed you won't lose your seat if that's what you're most worried about. Obviously if you just want to feel you're supporting the club then fair enough, personally I don't want to support these owners as they're taking the piss, and if the club loses money as a result then Donald will need to pay it himself which will likely hasten his departure. I'll still renew when we're allowed back like, but I'm not going to give him any unnecessary money to help his cash flow

Well he's had about 6, no ****er has come in, even madbob now seems to suggest that no one is going to come in, and far from the piss taking being over we've actually just had one of the most clueless, brain dead moves I've ever seen from this club. We've got loads of loyal fans, some so loyal they'll continue to go no matter how much the club seems to be taking the piss and he's already managed to alienate the vast majority of them, he's been a ****ing disaster already to the point where I think he'll struggle to come back from it.
