So this release of dmt when you die, is that what people equate to your whole life flashing before you?

 

At risk of oversimplifying and sounding cliché as ****... when I had my breakthrough I clearly remember seeing out one side of my vision beautiful meadows full of life; flowers, animals etc and out the other side was fire, brimstone and faceless ghouls.

I shut my eyes as i submit to it and mentally threw myself towards the 'nice' side and had an absolutely superb experience. Dread to think what would have happened had I not done it that way.

 

Yup. Our ego is the thing that defines who we are. Or at least we think it is. And letting go of that completely can be a scary experience, especially the first time.

I don't know about you, but for as astonishingly bizarre as the DMT landscape is, there is something completely familiar about it. As you know, that's hard to put into words, because language simply breaks down in that landscape. But for me, it's almost like coming home.... if that makes sense ?

 

That's the theory yes but it remains unproven I believe.

Yeah I know what you mean, that's why I strongly believe it raises our consciousness - it's stuff we're all aware that is there deep down we just aren't consciously aware of it if that makes sense?

I found my perception increased hugely afterwards. I remember walking to work the next day along a road that I've walked up tens of thousands of times and suddenly becoming aware of trees and plants etc that I had never noticed were there before.


Crazy stuff.

As I mentioned to Libby, there comes a point with it where language simply breaks down as it's not equipped to describe the experience.

The only way to understand it is to immerse yourself in it.

It would make sense... and I'm talking physiologically.

dmt known to cause people to re-experience past events with complete clarity (and a whole of other **** I currently can't comment on).

People dying experience whole life recall.

People dying release huge amounts of dmt.

Not quite QED but it's still reasonable. Of course I'm basing this on the effect of dmt as stated on here.

 

Yup, there's a lot of guff that we accept as being real in our lives, when in fact it's just concepts, conditioning, behaviours, stuff we're told to believe. And there's a lot of stuff that we simply filter out and don't even see that it's there. I think the Greek word for it is Scotoma, which is used in optometry to describe an eye condition, but I think it's ancient Greek meaning was 'something that is there, yet we don't see it'

DMT just strips it all bare and reveals such an incredible all encompassing landscape. I keep using the word astonishing because it is totally overwhelming initially. But you are right, it changes you forever. Once you have experienced that, there is simply no going back to the 'ordinary' world.

Yeah seems to be dude.... The only ones that can answer that though are the ones who didn't die lol but had a near death experience as they call it.

It's not for the weak at heart and I'd would definitely do lots of research before even thinking of grabbing some from Joe bloggs on the street...... Infact I would never buy anything like that from Joe bloggs.

Been bit of a worry lately that people are taking stuff and are falling ill from ****..... That's not dmt that's been made by someone with care and attention I can tell thee it's some greedy twat trying to make a buck whilst not caring for the consequences of the people they sold it to.
