Was at a protest (not London) yesterday, all peaceful, granted some didn't adhere to social distancing which was a real shame, but a real positive event. It's sad that events like this still happen but the years go on and racism is still rife. Was listening to a few of the ex players on talk sport and it's unbelievable, think it was Clinton Morrison who said he had to tell his children that a minority of people will react differently to you, some hate you because of the colour of your skin. Also a shame that some people are spoiling the message including numerous groups and individuals who are looking to discredit by acting and blaming the genuine protesters.
Someone who arranges the media that disagree with him to get beaten up and intimidated. Remember no smoke without fire, so he probably has them murdered
Guys, you're getting this wrong. You're talking about things Boris has actually done, multiple racist remarks, spoken to a friend about having someone beaten up, been fired for lying more than once etc. Ellers is talking about rumours he has no proof for.
As I said you guys carry on with your anti government/Boris rubbish because it makes no difference. The Tories will be around for a long time (and you all know it). Enjoy or come back in 4 years to discuss.
Imagine being this entrenched in your support for the most right wing government in generations overseeing one of the worst excess death rates in the entire world to the point you’d think anyone questioning their strategy is anti-government and simultaneously claiming not to be right wing.
Actually the vast majority of people I know understand that this is a pandemic and don't blame the government as much as you lefties. Seriously Watford you really do sound stupid calling all Tories right-wing.
If you back this Tory government voted in on an agenda more synonymous with UKIP then you’re right wing by default. It shouldn’t be something you’re ashamed of if you’re going to fanboy so blatantly for the party. It is a pandemic. Just a shame our government took so long to realise and so many more people had to die as a result.
How can they be right wing with a furlough scheme that would even make Magic Grandpa look madly generous?
I read some of these posts and laugh at their hatred of the government. Goldie this is just a Brexit/election payback. I now see people moaning about the furlough and the nightingale hospital? It's a big drive from the left to attack the government at every stage. What some don't realise is that the majority of people didn't want the other lot and rejected them.
They barely had a choice on that when the alternative was thousands of businesses closing overnight and millions unemployed. They’ll get their pound of flesh back as they have done through a decade of austerity. Are you really suggesting this government isn’t right wing? The one with this Home Secretary that forced out all the moderates?
