I wouldn’t go quite that far but if your plan was to create as much unnecessary chaos as possible then there are worse ideas than forcing MPs to come to London from all corners of the country, mix in an area where social distancing is virtually impossible then travel back.

I know it’s almost like we aren’t sure if mass gatherings and not staying 2 metres apart is allowed or not.

The Tories really need to be more clear.

It’s almost as if forcing MPs back to Westminster, then acting surprised when one of them starts coughing and has to go home, is some kind of cosmic joke.

Moggs is wrong, we should be working to the new normal. You can't implement rules for others such as 14 days quarantine if you travel, and then force MP's to rock up in the Commons just to vote! Also we should for environmental reasons alone, be encouraging as many people as possible to work from home. With a basis of only turning up to work x amount of times a month, just to ensure people don't become isolated within their jobs by working from home, as social interaction is an important aspect of life. We are all aware of the positive aspect the lockdown had on the environment, in such a short period of time.

If Johnson was wearing an earpiece yesterday at PMQ, with Cummings into it, you have to wonder how bad he'd have been without it.

Considering how diabolical he was with it.

The tories are perfectly clear that they have slopey shoulders and take no responsibility for the highest excess death rate in the world.

Makes you wonder what made the public of other nations behave differently.

It’s easy. The British public are thick and always have to point the finger at somebody or something rather than themselves.

The British public voted for Brexit and Boris, so on balance I’d have to agree - generally pretty thick.

We still deserve better than this pisstake of a government though.

So it's the British public's fault that Boris missed 5 consecutive Cobra meetings about the virus, that the UK ignored WHO advice, that the UK was overly slow into lockdown, that the UK's testing capacity and PPE acquisition and distribution were woefully inadequate? ...

... not sure that stacks up ... but there is one aspect for which you are bang on ... the UK public is responsible for voting this shambolic bunch of incompetent buffoons into power... so your point about the UK public being thick is proven beyond any doubt <laugh>

Not sure those protesting yesterday were Tory voters tbf.

Biggest case of mass gathering and ignoring of social distancing since restrictions were relaxed.

    By a mile.

Fair enough on the last line but you can't really blame the Tories for yesterday.

Then again, was the message not clear enough? They should probably add no mass protests to the wash your hands and maintain social distancing etc. Just so we're not confused.

I'm trying to be good and only go out as little as possible. But it does seem more and more have just given up.

There have been some big influences on why though. Cummings was crazy for what he did and a **** for not apologising, but the protests are equally stupid.

People are just stupid I suppose.

I think people know the damage was done in March and have become defeatist.
Trust that the government have acted in their best interests has collapsed.

We're all being encouraged to get back to some sort of normality......the terminally thick take that as "do as you please the danger has passed"

I've been a tory voter for most of my life.I can't stick up for them anymore, they'll never get my vote again.Boris is not PM material
and is totally out of his depth and i've no words for the bloke pulling his strings.

Now you have to say something rude, about Saxton, to complete the initiation.
