Dispatches on CH4 at the minute is somewhat enlightening

I'll never forget that weekend. My mate choose to go to another game, after ours was cancelled, I chose not to. He caught covid but was young enough and strong enough to fight it. Thank fook I didn't go with him.

The current crisis, the lead up to it, and some of the experts who form part of the various scientific committees.

I’d urge everyone to watch it.

Recorded it ... will watch later ... suspect it will not look particularly good.

We are still recording the highest death rate in Europe and we are re-opening for business because of some maths formula where the factor of R ignores the fact that we are still recording the highest death rates in Europe <doh>

Second surge anyone?

If there’s a second surge it will be well and truly deserved. The public have brought that possibility on themselves <ok>

Probably. There’s a theory that the virus is becoming less potent over time so it would be more luck than judgement if we avoid it. The protests have given the usual serfs an excuse to cling onto should it all go (more) wrong.

I get that at some point things need to open up a bit even if we clearly don’t have the grip on infections that the government and their fanboys would like you to believe. Just wish they’d be honest about it rather than pretending we’re “winning the battle” with our “world-beating” track and trace.

lol

I can't imagine where the public have got such mixed messages from.

I don't think the messages are mixed, it's been clearly stated to continue with social distancing measures. That it's being ignored by a proportion of our moron population is entirely their own fault.

Personally don't think there will be an imminent second wave but I'm not stating that as a fact.

Perhaps it'll come back in winter when most virus's of this type propagate, I'd really like think we're more prepared if it does though.

Lol, we haven’t been social distancing for ages. Protesting without masks and not adhering to the 2 metre rule. It’s all good though because...

****ing Tory’s :emoticon-0121-angry

Wouldn't surprise me if the Torys kicked all this off just to avoid judgement <steam>

You now have someone to blame. Lucky you.

The reality is that our **** comedy government have called every single decision wrong, from the Herd Immunity idiocy in March, via the “World Beating” shambles of Track and Trace, to the rank stupidity of Ugly Patel’s quarantine farce.
