Must have been someone else saying they were settling down for the daily briefing..... Either that or I missed the sarcasm in your post(not towards me may I add)

When I said it's a watching brief, I meant the situation on the whole. Not that I was literally watching the brief.

Just a case in keeping an eye on how things go, I know what I need to do and how to act, happy enough with that. I don't need telling all the time.

Plenty do though, obviously!

I only watched it the once..... That was enough for me of the pantomime he's behind you garbage.

Open the pubs and be done with it..... Get the crowds back into football because its worthless without it........ And send some military grade cannabis to ever cannabis lover in the country........ If carling made governments hey

Just watching the Japanese channel NHK, Tokoyo has seen a spike in infections, they blame 1/3rd of them on bars and nightclubs. Clearly an early warning there for us, not to become complacent once bars start opening up.

I can't see how you can open up huge swathes of the economy without a spike in infections, it's kind of obvious that when more people start mixing, especially in close contact, that infections are going to rise.

The drive to get the economy going again is beginning to outweigh the need to protect health imo. I get it that you can't let the economy crash and burn, but personally I won't be taking any risks around this. And I say that from a privileged position in that I don't have to rush back to work and can therefore home school my daughter and take my time with this.

That's not a choice that a lot of people have the luxury of having.

If Hancock got on with sorting TTI infrastructure instead of playing numbers theatre on TV, we could deal with a second wave
