I’m sure is hasn’t escaped people’s attentions that the US police are well equipped to deal with looting. It’s not a major overwhelming issue for them, they are well equipped.

So why does Trump want to turn the military against his own people ?

US Police got unreal equipment, look at their firearms in the vids. And some of the armored vehicles I presumed were owned by the National Guard, but nah, its actual police equipment.

I doubt it but the US police went at this all wrong.

The best way to deal with a protest is to try and contain and let it die out naturally, eventually people have to get their asses back to work, or just get tired of it all. The cops have gone on the attack, brutally, so its escalating and escalating.

Every single time the government of a country has tried to beat down a protest they've mostly lost... except for Bashar Al-Assad apparently.

If things go tits up, he knows they'll turn their back on him. The photo op didn't come after the tear gas. The tear gas and moving the protesters was part of the photo op. That and holding up a bible is symbolic like he's leading a crusade. He's drawing the battle lines for middle amercia... or trying to.

Those states would have voted for him anyway. As will the states that vote for a Democrat will do also.
