WJ is correct.

She hasn't resigned the whip but has left her role within the whips office.

As they are in opposition and facing a quite large tory majority I'm not exactly sure how much whipping would actually be required.
In effect done nothing then only try to avoid being sacked by getting out of the limelight.

so she's done nothing then, just hiding for a while.
Yup. Just a change of seats. And domestic situation.

Joking apart, she took the honourable way out for what amounts to very little. Apparently they maintained social distancing on their walk, so could easily have gone down the route of 'coincidental legal exercise walk', or something like that. Hats off to her for taking the hit in what has clearly been a major & private personal situation. At least she wasn't seeing how many pedestrians she could mow down in her car whilst testing her eyesight.

Second wave for London, and when they start the why are more Blacks getting and dieing of Covid, They should show them this photo.

Very ill advised in the current climate and I’m certainly not going to defend it... but also I’m not black so I don’t feel I can comment on what it must be like.

I’ve read the reasons for why certain minorities are harder hit and it certainly isn’t all their own fault. Disproportionately represented in low paid jobs and in nhs and care roles being among them. Some idiots protesting at the wrong time but many of them are heroes. Maybe you should show a picture of clapping for Carers instead?

She should just have said she didn’t know the guy but went out without her glasses and bumped in to him. He said he was homeless so she gave him some shelter.

more credible than some stories we’ve heard recently

She had been seeing him all the time. He's been to her place it's odds on. Why would she meet someone from another household when she is an MP. They walked for five hours mate and never touched each other? Yeah of course they did.

I hear what you're saying & you're dead right.

However, this march, & all the congregations I've witnessed in the media suggests to me that the medicos who are suggesting that the Governments (plural) have moved too fast are spot on. Perhaps not in terms of what can happen 'on paper', but in terms of the previously known high number of absolute pillocks we have in this country, whose propensity for stupidity should be well known to them.

In football parlance, the Governments have lost the dressing room.

what do you think he should resign for?

breaking the rules? covering it up? lying about the reasons? trying to big himself up as some prophet of Coronavirus and changing on old blog to refer to it? or for promoting herd immunity and changing his mind and lying about that too?

just business as usual for a career psychopath
Think you've just about covered it.

Used to be quite ambivalent about him but not anymore.

Crikey, didn't know the details (wasn't that interested, tbh).

you seem pretty clued up on it wakey... when you said you’d driven for miles during lockdown and gone for long walks? It’s you isn’t it? She’s your new squeeze.

Or were you just stalking her?

personally I think they haven’t just turned the tap on, they’ve likely opened the floodgates.

I think it’s deliberate. They want us to get it, preferably the young and low risk to pass it around... but they can’t say that.

Well the nightingale hospital beds are still vacant.

I went to Norwich area last week...... In a truck. Most I've been in my car is 8 miles as I had just done the brakes. I do walk for two hours and have found many new and peaceful places. I avoid parks now and tend to go where car entry is limited. I have found other walkers very respectful.

I would have no problem if Boris sacked him but after what has happened this past week with mass gatherings all over the country feel its pointless.
Hmmm. A bit like saying a murderer in 1943 should get off because lots more were killing more the world over. Clumsy, but hopefully gets the point over that if you've been guilty of wrongdoing, you must face the consequences.
