In the midst of it all is the Maltese Falcon, a rare precious artefact which everyone is after including a bloke called the Fat Man. That's about as much as you need to know.

The script is brilliant but the real gem of the film is the dialogue, especially Bogart's. The last scene between him and the femme fatale. It's lyrical genius.

I like all those films and all high 8's and 9+ but not 10. That's for the very best. A rubber shark isn't getting a 10 despite the performances. :emoticon-0138-think

Old films? Always loved the 1950 version of King Solomon's Mines with Struart Grainger and Deborah Kerr, the scenery is fantastic.
