The government will not review fines issued to families who travelled to get childcare in lockdown, Sky News understands – despite the health secretary promising a vicar in a TV briefing he would "look at" the issue.

Right let's try clear something up. People have been fined for travelling regarding childcare. It was obviously against the rules to do so or how is it possible to issue a fine yet Cummings gets away with it.
Either cummings is right and the government is wrong or cummings is wrong and the government is right. Both cant be true. Hope that clears it up for the simple folk who continue to question this absolute farce of a ****show!

Not our government but someone in Ireland got a custodial sentence for doing a similar distance.

The difference being that buying a puppy should be considered essential.

March 26th - Blackford driven to Skye, apparently breaking Lockdown

May 23rd - Blackford demands Cummings “be removed” for breaking Lockdown

The SNP's Ian Blackford traveled 600 miles, presumably by car, seemingly with no good reason

Where is the [HASHTAG]#mediascum[/HASHTAG] baying for blood?

cant find any mention of driving thirty miles first

Standards of vision for driving

You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres.

The practical driving test eyesight test
At the start of your practical driving test you have to correctly read a number plate on a parked vehicle.

If you can’t, you’ll fail your driving test and the test won’t continue. DVLA will be told and your licence will be revoked.

When you reapply for your driving licence, DVLA will ask you to have an eyesight test with DVSA. This will be at a driving test centre. If you’re successful, you’ll still have to pass the DVSA standard eyesight test at your next practical driving test.

But, but, but I saw a driving instructor breaking the lockdown rules <laugh>

They all seem to be at it. They are now saying Blackford went on a hike. <yikes>
Bloody hell it will end up that I was probably the only one to abide by the advice!

so he went for a drive 30 miles and took scenic shots of a loch. Should he resign? mmm

How is he meant to get home from PMQs?
He has a home in London so he really should have stayed there. Besides it was 3 days later that he took his 600 trip and scenic drive. It’s on the radio as well. I have to laugh as he has been very vocal about Cummings.
