Hi Guys, Just thought that i would congratulate you on your win last night against a pretty off form Sunderland side. The way you dragged them into your type of game was a credit to you and would throw any decent side in the premiership off their normal game. Just a couple of questions. Why did you decide to stop your normal Monday night half time entertainment? and secondly last night was the first time i have had a look at all the penalty decisions last night close up. And i must say i agree with Gary Neville with his comment that they were all correct decisions and the the biggest question marks should be asked about the defending in all cases.

Is that the same Gary Neville who said you were good value for the lead at half time? What does he know eh? I found the stuff about defending on the edge of the box interesting. I'd much rather have Neville giving an insight into the most successful club team in English history than Andy Gray spouting cliches and nonsense. The one thing that struck me as odd was the recurring use of Fat Boy Slim who is unequivocally behind Brighton & Hove Albion. Wouldn't a bit of Cathy Dennis or The Darkness have been more apt?
Thats the first time i have ever agreed with him, Just wiseing (if thats a word) up in defence is what is needed. I thought your midfield was hardworking, not the most skillful but was always around and putting Sunderland off their normal game. Up front is where you are lacking, Morison will get a few but not enough & Grunt looks well out of his depth! I would say you need to get your points early doors, because as we always see the new teams drop like a stone from November onwards.

It's as good a time as any to play them. They still might hammer us into oblivion but then nobody would be in the least bit surprised... However if we can hold them for the first 15, then another 15 and the crowd start to get restless who knows. One thing I am sure of is that their best attacks against us will probably be from our corners and set pieces! Teams always look so naive when they send everybody forwards and wonder why its a shambles when everybody is out of position tracking back at pace when Manure counter attack them!
Odd from Neville, when, as has been said over and over again (sorry) that two were outside the box... Why on earth did they have him as a pundit. Why not an ex Norwich/Sunderland player?
