Nuno would be a great appointment, but more likely just to get someone similar. A lot will depend on the package that is actually on offer, not just personal terms but also transfer funds. It's unlikely that we will be going all out with limitless funds. If this goes through we will be an attractive proposition for a new manager, but not the only one out there. It would take a lot to entice Nuno. He is doing well at a club with a great history (very similar to ours) and has been backed very very well in the transfer market.

Agreed. We kind of need to find our own version of Nuno, not just poach someone else’s, if that makes sense!

debatable nunos had much more money

Poch has spent loads and worse than that, he had money to spend, but chose not to, meaning Spurs missed out on Van Den Beek, all so he could play political games.

Poch in a decade of professional management has never won a single trophy.

Your response was agreeing to CC's case about Nuno having done nothing then you mention Gerrard doing well.

Nothing to do with taking the piss. I just found it baffling.
I was saying that nuno has done nothing. He hasn’t. Then I was asking as the thread is discussing about what about Gerrard? You said about lee bowyer and Barton yesterday. Two English ex players who have done **** all so far at lower league clubs. Then I suggest Gerrard who is a top player managing a big club like rangers and you laugh at it...........double standards pal!

Thus agreeing with CC then you say Gerrard has done well as a follow on to that statement. Wolves are a big club doing poor when Nuno took over.

Add for your following assertions about Gerrardi actually agree with you.

I'd be happy with anyone other than Bruce.

No double standards at all.

So what’s wrong with agreeing with chaos?

Nope. Gerrard? Could attract top players? Done well with rangers.

Gerrard has been distinctly average at Rangers.

The only thing he's done there is used his links and taken top Liverpool youngsters there on loan and signed a lot of older stars.

What was it Neil Lennon said, if he had Gerrards season at Celtic, he would have been sacked.
