We’ve got no lifeguard cover atm as the RNLI have furloughed all of their lifeguards. We had loads of day trippers all rocking up at the beach in the week as the surf was good.
Just been chatting to a mate who’s in the coastguard. He’s just driven down from the next cove up where he had to stop a family from clambering down to the beach and set up their picnic. ‘But the waves look so nice’ was their plea.

I didn't think the RNLI got paid, or if they did it was a very small amount of money. I thought it operated on the basis of volunteers, that had other full time jobs. I can't imagine any RNLI leaving duty unattended even as a volunteer, let alone furloughed. I thought beach lifeguards were employed by local authority.

'jesus christ' is not a command instruction for a dog. Albeit that part is funny. The owner reminds me of trying to understand what @aberdude is saying on a daily basis...sometimes funny, sometimes not.

My old Man's birthday today, was supposed to go round for a few drinks but im kinda hoping he pulls a sicky tbh I Cba today

Soz, only just got back on.
It's Three Cliffs bay in the Gower peninsula. We go every spring bank holiday, there's a camp site looking down to that.
Glad we didn't go actually, it's 50mph winds at the minute. Going to play golf there now, the course over looks there. V windy!

Just got back from mine . I curtailed the bit the little fooker likes most as far too many trees around for my liking particularly as there was a small tree with approx 1 foot diameter trunk fallen across one of the paths
**** me didn't realise the little ****er and I had made it onto the internet .
