Why? It's just the Mags at the athletic sticking the boot in because they're still sour we sent them down and ****ed them 6 times
That's pretty much it.

Exactly, nothing really new there apart from a couple of quotes but just the same crap we have heard before. The mags will be patting themselves on the back though for a job well done. Why? “On the face of it, Sunderland should be an easy sell,” one person involved in a consortium which attempted to buy the club last year, tells The Athletic. “They’ve got the stadium, the fanbase and a good academy but behind the scenes, it’s a mess. For the money they’re asking, you could buy a Championship club, with fewer nasty issues.”
Yep! Everything in that article was common knowledge at the time it's from. So surely responsible journalists would have reported at the time. Not wait until the damage was done and write a eulogy.Exactly, nothing really new there apart from a couple of quotes but just the same crap we have heard before. They are just putting the boot in for some reason, keeping how bad it is in the public eye - maybe to put buyers off.Yep! Everything in that article was common knowledge at the time it's from. Different parties (including supporters) putting the boot in will surely make buyers have second thoughts. They are just putting the boot in for some reason, keeping how bad it is in the public eye - maybe to put buyers off.
Load of ****e to include fans in that as our fans are almost the clubs equityDifferent parties (including supporters) putting the boot in will surely make buyers have second thoughts.
Fair point that, we can be the best in the land but we have our share of idiots tooDifferent parties (including supporters) putting the boot in will surely make buyers have second thoughts.
If I were a potential buyer, I would look at the positives and negatives of the fan base - I can see both even as a fan. Overall, there are certainly more positives in my opinion and I hope that decent prospective buyers will also see that.Load of ****e to include fans in that as our fans are almost the clubs equity
Its already been established that a ridiculous asking price is putting off buyers not fans.If I were a potential buyer, I would look at the positives and negatives of the fan base - I can see both even as a fan. I think wise buyers will consider all elements. Its already been established that a ridiculous asking price is putting off buyers not fans.
I think wise buyers will consider all elements.
Having read the wisemensay article, I think this is yet another red herring.
The situation with the parachute payments is as we all know, basically irrelevant. SAFC used to have a debt of £25m to Ellis Short and had £25m of parachute payments coming in, i.e. nothing. Now it doesn’t have the debt to Ellis Short but it doesn’t have the parachute payments either. So no change.
Buyers will only see safc fans as pound signs I guarantee itI think wise buyers will consider all elements.
My only question is what is going to happen next, are RAWA,Als etc going to put pressure on are will they be too concerned about the current climate etc.
I only know the three numptys over the road that defend Donald neeone else so having the fans backing shouldn’t be a problem.
Bottom line is this can’t continue, daily criticism from the media is good for us wanting them out but generally poor for the image of the club.
