I dont think so tbh, even @Tobes the most ferocious null and voider on this site tuned into German football the other day.
For me the difference is that it's easy to lose interest whilst watching ... I was channel hopping and tuned in about 10 mins before the Haaland goal ... saw that and then the second goal and thought, that's that then, switched over and didn't go back ... now admittedly if my own team had gone 2 up I'd have continued ... but found yesterday's experience pretty sterile ...
Firstly the most ferocious null and voider? I’ve been saying for weeks and weeks that you’ll be given the title whatever happens, my beef is with PPG being potentially used to relegate teams, as it’s not right. So you’re completely wrong.......again. We’ve gone 2 months without footie or any live sport. I’d literally watch budgie fighting at the minute. So I, like millions of others, tuned in to the German footie on Saturday. I fell asleep during the first match. Footie without fans simply doesn’t hold the attention. As a spectacle it’s ****e, FACT.
the second half of that is pretty much where i'm at . Would be slightly different if it was our own teams but it just doesn't feel like proper footy
I think they'll see high viewing figures for the first couple of games but they'll soon drop once the novelty factor wears off. Literally loads of things I'd rather do with my Saturday afternoon.
Who sits and watches a full 90mins of another team though really? Not many I'd say. Extended highlights for me at best
They should show an NFL-style show where you get the goals or key moments flash up from games as they happen.
Lots of people mate. I don't watch all of our games cos don't normally do streams but tend to watch Super Sunday.
I'll watch ours if there's a chance of us being relegated on the final day. Otherwise, not interested.
Ive probably missed 2 lfc games at the most the last 2 seasons, but then I watch all my football on kodi streams tbh I dont even do motd I think its gash, I just watch extended highlights on YouTube for anyone else's games if I'm bothered.
I'm the opposite mate. Bar the odd game then if I'm not going to it I've generally got better things to do. Will normally watch if we're on telly though. I still enjoy listening on the radio occasionally too, that would be really ****ing weird without fans.
I’ll watch a premier league game on the box, between 2 teams other than mine anyday. Depends what is riding on the game tbh so does Sucky...talkin out his arse sayin he doesn’t watch a game unless it involves his own team...How does he comment on so many then?(90% of the comments are incorrect tbf) MOTD is superb too...I like the time slot...gives you that little break. 5 pm games finish and highlights available straight away on Sky...too much football being force fed...no thanks. I enjoy listening to a game on the radio whilst I’m pottering about aswell All of it is pointless without a match crowd
give over man after all you don't really think people buy Sky Sports just to watch their own team do you ? and yes i know you think people who do pay are loons
I can understand you all wanting to watch Liverpool play. Its not the same the other way round guise. Soz
This made me chuckle ... FC Seoul getting pelters because the fake fans they put in the seats for a lockdown game turned out to be sex dolls
