Let me clue you in to something: Bill Shankly was an idiot
Football is not more important than life and death, and at a time of a global pandemic it rapidly becomes obvious not only how insignificant that it actually is, but also a damn good way to help a pandemic spiral out of control - after all, you've got Steve Rotheram blaming Atletico Madrid fans for bringing Covid onto Merseyside (although for some reason it didn't occur to him that Liverpool fans travelling to Madrid a couple of weeks earlier may have brought it back with them, funnily enough...), and don't get me started on the significant discrepancy of Covid cases in the area surrounding the Cheltenham racecourse compared to the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire
As for your pathetic whining about "deserved" titles, let me ask you something: are you really that stupid? No, seriously, are you really that stupid? Ligue 1 was scrubbed with PSG 12 points clear, and that kills your entitled whining deader than the 40,000 people that you think aren't as important as some trinket being paraded around your ground
The issue is becoming abundantly clear at this point: The FA and/or Premier League are waiting/hoping for the Tories to step in and say the season is void, thus the clubs won't have to pay back the TV money - the obvious issue with this is that they should already know that's like playing a game of chicken while standing in a narrow alley, because back in March the Tories put insurance companies before the public when "advising" pubs to close in a way that meant insurance companies wouldn't have to pay them if they did, and that's what's happening here. Add to this the threat of having TV money grabbed back out of their hands isn't being responded to in the one way that it should: telling the TV companies that they can have their money back, but they won't have a second's worth of live football ever again, and we'll see just how stable their services are without half a dozen Premier League games a week
