What the f uck are you having for Dinner thread..

@Sweats. Paella is on.

So I was about to post this and had a few things to do and then did "a @Sweats. " And burned the ****ing sorfrito.

 

Love paella... when I’m abroad it’s one of those meals I look forward to for days, planning where we will go and what I’ll eat that day to make the very most of it.

There’s actually a nice place locally that does takeaway paella, but I get the chicken and chorizo version, with big prawns, rather than the full seafood version that I prefer. It’s alright but not even close to the real deal.

 

I’ve never cooked paella. Already think I’ve added too much tomato and stock.

 

This is going to be an expensive disaster

 

I've already binned one load.

 

I’ve never been nervous when cooking .. I can’t get hold of the Spanish chef so am winging it.

Going to be really upset if I **** this up.

 

I'm on the money now, just waiting.

Have you used chicken breast... you absolute transvestite.

 

Mine is nearly ready. Totally different colour to yours. Think I put too much tomato in.

 

I’ve never seen burnt paella before.

It should be crispy round the edges mind.

 

Always, I think a Spaniard once told me you stir a risotto but not a paella.

 

Your cooking is improving, now you've stopped the fancy messing about.

 

Yeah no stirring. I’m hoping the bottom is a bit crispy. The edges look a little crispy though I’ve cooked it in a ceramic pan . Should be cooked in a proper paella dish.

 

Well Luv’s used chicken breast so he’s already lost.

 

Them samosas were banging btw...tremendous

 

Never seen one like that before.

Have you used gravy?
