I don't see how Fenian can be racial, ethnic or religious. And you are correct, both terms are not the equal and opposite of each other but they are both deemed unsatisfactory by the various legislators. So in that aspect they are equivalent. The equivalent of Tim is Billy but I never hear Celtic fans using that, they prefer to use hun which quite frankly, like fenian, is a banned term.

I can't believe this eejit is saying Billy is more acceptable than hun, one of these names has direct religious connotations the other does not. I'll leave it to you to work out which is which! And I have never ever heard a Gers fan refer to himself as a Billy except in some horrible songs or if their name happens to be William.
