It's very detailed if you're into that kind of thing. I just want too know how far and how long (peddling, not how long im out the house)
Oh they are into detail <laugh> I think the premise was - if you're going to download an app you may as well get one with extra features even if you don't need them or want to use them. A bit like choosing a washing machine with 27 programmes and only using 3 of them.

Been reading Beastie Boys Book. Great read, I have Look Homeward Angel by Thomas Wolfe once I've finished. [HASHTAG]#yingyang[/HASHTAG]
Just finished Go Set a Watchman, not as good Mockingbird imo but a good read nonetheless. Going for The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead next.

My cycling is of the exercise variety these days, bike's bust.

I do that regularly. My dryer as about twenty settings but only ever use one <laugh>

I've started using my bike again, been out a few times. Losing a fair amount of weight with the walking and cycling, don't normally have time.

I've lost half a stone without really doing anything. Did a five mile walk yesterday and now go the bike setup so I'll be smashing that now.

Currently 12st 6lb but aiming to get down to about 11st.

Next cycling (or hiking) question...

Is there a app that finds local routes?

I've just downloaded Kamoot which seems decent but you have to enter a destination or waypoint.

I want to be able to search for all local 20mile (example) routes

Edit; just seen Strava can provide this but I'm not paying £48pa for the privilege [HASHTAG]#freeisgood[/HASHTAG]

Was going to say Komoot. AllTrails??

Enjoying these daily reports on your evening spins, keep 'em coming <ok>

Cheers, will do. No road biking this weekend, back on that tomorrow. Did have a whiz round the park on a mountain bike yesterday with the missus on her hybrid before riding to the shop. Just did laps of the paths then managed to sit on my right nut at one point though <laugh> Also found some fun trails to off road a bit on, only small sections but nice to go on when you mostly road cycle. Lovely temp again, sunny and quite a few out exercising in different areas of the park

Thought buying a bike was the main expense; just ordered a helmet, three water bottles with holders, three pairs of gloves, a phone holder, some cushion cycling shorts (to be worn underneath!), two bike racks and a fitness watch thingy.

(Water bottles and gloves for the eldest two too)
