Being a geek I have a tracker linked to various things to sense occupancy & who is where etc in the house that then triggers off various automations. Anyway, I digest. I have a made a sensor from that data that displays on the dashboard how long I am at home over a rolling 7 day period for the last 4 weeks.
The result this week:
96.4%
That 3.6% is for dog walking, poor things.
Continually berating a nation every day when my wife is an American and I have 100 of American friends and colleagues that are not 95% dumb asses is just getting old and ignorant. I guess all American democrats are ok but Republicans are ass holes*. I am done and will not miss this bullshit.
I'm looking forward to a nice alcoholic beverage once these restrictions are over. Bet it's ****ing pissing it down by then though.

I actually went out and bought a 24 pack of Camden Hells last night and I am fully intending to be be breaking into them at bang on 5pm this evening. I might sit in the window and drink. Normally, I would frown upon such behaviour.I'm looking forward to a nice alcoholic beverage once these restrictions are over. Bet it's ****ing pissing it down by then though.

Unfortunately economics and health should never mix and in modern capitalism it has. Now we have got to a point where we have to choose. It highlights that our economies must change or become heartless.
The evidence shows that the death rate in Sweden is rising steeply, certainly faster than her neighbours:Let's not turn into the rabid purveyors of falsehood we dislike in the Trump brigade. The Swedish death toll is NOT skyrocketing. It is simply going up relative to infection. And, Schad, you said in the same breath that Sweden has a terrible death rate and barely any testing. Therefore this is supposition. It may be true, but that is very hard to say at the moment. People seem eager for Sweden to be wrong, but Sweden is doing what Sweden feels is best. This can be right for Sweden and still not right for us.
More steeply is a little different to skyrocketing. The evidence shows that the death rate in Sweden is rising steeply, certainly faster than her neighbours:
