What about this 2nd bid? If its on the table. Its on the table for a reason. Kenyon bever went away did he? Well thats a lie, he did go away but maybe he got some cash for the begging bowl.

lets be honest if it falls through it's mike Ashley for many years to come … the clubs not even worth buying unless you've got crazy money it's not going to get any better . The like of Kenyan etc would not make us any better imo because they are too skint . If this fails I can't even be arsed to talk or consider takeovers ever again. It's taken 13 years and 12 months of work to get the sale to this stage.

The deal is being financed by the Saudi's, but PCP is technically the owners on paper are they not? They're just minority owners?

I must admit I don't really understand public business ownership on this scale, nor the contracts being spoken of. But one thing I do know is this, people's appeals to a businesses sense of humanity will not derail a multi-million £ deal. It doesn't matter if the virgin mary comes down and exclaims that Jesus Christ himself is being held captive by the Saudi's, this is a business and legal matter. It has rules, the emotions of a widow or the disgust of a sports channel are immaterial.

Furthermore, if the Saudi's are aware of the Premier League fit and proper test and went forward with their payment to Mike they clearly are aware of the criteria. If so, with their army of lawyers, they would be sure that they are going to pass this test.

if the Premier League was to reject the Saudi bid they would need a good legal reason to. So far, the only reason they would have to reject the deal is because "man, this dont feel right with us." That is simply not good enough a reason to reject a proposed ownership. I am positive it would cause major legal ramifications.

It's a corporate transaction. Human rights and complaints are irrelevant. It's the provisions of the Companies Act, Fraud and money Laundering legislation that applies.

- Do they have the funds? Yes
- Is their funding lawful and traceable - Yes
- Have the potential owners been convicted of any criminal act relating to financial/ corporate crime? No
- Are the potential owners disqualified from acting as director or chief financial officer due to breaches of company/ finance law? No
- has a business plan been submitted? Yes
- Are the owners likely to pose a risk to the business? No.
- Are they prohibited from owning a UK company?

Morality does not come into it.

This guy reckons the media are all wrong and our hopefully soon to be owners will want to eclipse Man City and PSG and will not hold anything back in trying to do so. Essentially he thinks we are going to become a force.

Exactly, whatever the Saudi's are accused of is no importance as long as it does not prevent them from owning a British company.

I am 100% convinced the deal will be confirmed at the reported time, a few weeks.
