At the end of the day, Saudi Arabia has more venues, more money, more people and is ready to accept sport. Qatar's current King has been pushing for massive sport initiatives for most of his reign now, as he is a young guy, while now Saudi Arabia's new young king is pushing for the exact same thing.

The fact is BeIN Sport has already threatened to pull it's sponsorship of the Premier League before, and it has issued the exact same reaction to Serie A for trying to host a game in Saudi Arabia. They will be thoroughly ignored.

Merse n Souness need to realise if this goes through they are going to have to start praising us. Its must be a hard pill to take when theyve slated us for years. Souness obviously is bitter because his spell up here as manager turned to ****. Merse shouldnt have any gripe with us though? Or Keys? Baffling.

I think something similar also happened in Spain, so on that note, how would everyone feel if one of our home games ended up being played in Saudi?

100% Support it actually. I believe it would be key to getting Newcastle millions and millions of fans. Some of them very wealthy.

No one cares what Merson thinks, I have watched so many Sky videos on Youtube and have never, ever seen anyone make a single positive comment towards Paul Merson. He is widely regarded as one of the stupidest people in football.

On that note, I have also never seen anyone watch a football match on BeIN sport, so I don't take them seriously either.
