So here's an update to the above story of dozens of Twitter profiles purporting to be of NHS staff but actually being created by Dominic Cummings' bot farm to try and control the media narrative: the Department of Health and Social Care have gone on a Twitter rampage declaring the story to be "categorically false" There's one problem with this assertion they've been making on the timelines of anyone signal boosting the story, though, namely that it can be proven that it's not false in the slightest. For the most obvious example, it can be proven that the face of the dirty tricks campaign "NHS Susan" is not of a nurse named Susan - because it's a photo of a nurse named Mia Magklavani whose proto was nicked off of Unison's website https://www.unison.org.uk/news/2019/12/nhs-staff-shortages-increase/ http://www.seftonunison.co.uk/news/post/meet-our-nhs But sadly, it appears that "NHS Susan" is one of the victims of Covid-19, as the profile vanished as soon as the story broke please log in to view this image In other words, the current Twitter profile is far more accurate than anything the Department of Health and Social Care said
I've read that that Trump has had many bankruptcies and spends money like one runs tap water. Now he has his dream. Printing money to............!
Dominic Cummings said “herd immunity, protect the economy, and if that means some pensioners die, too bad” Covid-19 has been rampant in care homes, with the elderly sent home from A&E without Covid testing which has led to a spike in cases Somehow it hasn't occurred to the stenographers that claim to be journalists that there might be a connection there...
Donald Trump claims to believe that: A) The coronavirus is an international emergency and that all immigration needs to be stopped as a result of this. B) The coronavirus isn't that bad and everyone should go back to work or protest states preventing such measures. Scum.
From the BBC... "In the meantime the government’s decisions now and early on in this crisis continue to come under scrutiny. After apparently contradictory comments by the top civil servant at the Foreign Office and the secretary of state for health there is, to put it mildly, confusion over whether the UK has joined an EU joint procurement scheme to obtain medical equipment. One claims it was “a political decision” not to and the other said it was no such thing… we hear a clarification will be forthcoming." ...once they come up with something more acceptable than the truth, that has a hope in hell of being believed.
Who saw the SpaceX satellites tonight? How long before the conspiracy theories start, they are reject 3 series Tesla's that are spreading covid 19
Remember how, back in 2008, David Cameron didn't waste a second before creating the Narrative of Labour tanking the world economy? Just a thought for Keir Starmer: when there's a multitude of things you can rightly condemn the Tories for, don't say "Now is not the time" as your default response, it helps them avoid responsibility
Gee, if I didn't know any better I'd suggest that "centrists" and gammons have spent the last four years making themselves look like ****ing idiots...
Despite the fairly comfortableTory victory in the 1979 General Election , Thatcher’s government saw rising unemployment and a recession. and her popularity was fading. With a change of government, Argentina, as always, re-ignited their claim to the Malvinas. The UK government rejected the claims, but did not do anything in the way of investment in the islands. I have always believed that Thatcher deliberately avoided a peaceful settlement with Argentina over the islands knowing that eventually they would invade/ reclaim the island, and to that end looked for an ally or friendly nation in South America. Chile, under Pinochet was in an ideal position as he despised the ordinary people as much as she did so she tried very hard to get the world to brush his atrocities under the carpet to get him onside. A war with Argentina was the ideal way to regain her popularity as was shown in the subsequent GE of 1983 when she swept back to power on the back of many lives unnecessarily lost and billions of pound spent.
I think Maggie Thatcher took a leaf out of that French lady's book and told Britain to "eat cake!" ....and now I hear that the Trump Companies are asking the Trump government for a nice handout as their golf courses and hotels are struggling. Shame that!
Funny how the Metro Mayor of Liverpool is so quick to blame Atletico Madrid fans travelling to Anfield for bringing Covid-19 to Merseyside, but is conveniently forgetting that two weeks before a bunch of Saltypool fans travelled to Madrid even though the city was already a virus hotspot before returning home...
I think that you'll find that's the fault of the last Labour government. Or the last Tory government. Or something. Definitely not the responsibility of the current mob.
